The Daily Orange is the independent, nonprofit student news organization serving Syracuse University and the greater Central New York community.

As a Board Member and Business Manager, Kevin provides financial oversight, strategic guidance, and mentorship to the student leadership team. In this capacity, he:

• Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and business operations.
   
• Advises student staff on advertising and revenue development strategies.
   
• Collaborates with the Board of Directors and student Editor-in-Chief to sustain the paper’s financial independence and long-term vision.
   
• Mentors students in real-world business management and nonprofit operations.
   

This role reflects Kevin’s commitment to supporting student-led journalism and fostering hands-on learning in media and entrepreneurship.

Kevin serves as an Instructor for the E-Commerce Growth Lab, a program presented by the Mohawk Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Mohawk Valley Community College’s thINCubator.

The 3-month accelerator program helps small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs launch and expand their online businesses through workshops on:

• E-commerce platforms and business models
   
• Product listing, pricing, and digital optimization
   
• SEO, social media, and email marketing fundamentals
   

Drawing from over a decade of experience in e-commerce and marketing, Kevin helps entrepreneurs strengthen their digital presence and implement actionable strategies for online growth.
